The new Coros Pace Pro brings an AMOLED display, mapping and long battery life — and is a huge challenge at just $379
Coros has introduced the Pace Pro, its latest performance running and multisport watch designed to compete with Garmin.
Coros must be the last watch manufacturer not to have a ‘Pro’ watch in its ranks — but the Pace Pro brings a full set of features to compete with the Forerunner 965, Fenix E, and Polar Pace Pro. And at $349, it undercuts the likes of Garmin and Polar with a package that, on paper, offers big value for money.
With its feature-rich offerings, Coros has been a contender against Garmin’s Forerunner and Fenix series. However, the brand has lagged behind due to Garmin’s adoption of AMOLED displays—until now.
The Pace Pro features a vibrant 1.3-inch AMOLED display with 1,500 nits brightness and an always-on option. It offers up to 38 hours of continuous GPS tracking and 20 days of battery life in standard mode.
Additionally, Coros has doubled the processing power of previous models for enhanced speed and responsiveness. The Pace Pro includes dual-frequency GNSS and all-systems satellite technology, improving accuracy in both trails and urban areas. Battery life is impressive, providing 31 hours of multiband GNSS tracking and 37 hours in standard GPS mode, while maintaining about 20 days as a smartwatch.
The Pace Pro also boasts mapping capabilities and weighs only 37 grams with its nylon band, making it lightweight. Users can benefit from custom workouts, sleep analysis, and the Coros app for detailed training insights.
The watch will be available globally in black, grey, and blue priced at $349 USD.
